It could be argued that not every business can be marketed in a fun way. And I’m not saying that every marketing message has to be a joke or cause outbursts of laughter.
What I am suggesting however is that marketing teams can have fun during the marketing process. I’ve been in a number of marketing meetings where the tension was so extreme that there was no room for a creative remark or idea! It was difficult to imagine anything short of “the sky is falling” and there’s no solution! Marketing is a creative process and should never be stressful!
I couldn’t help but wonder “what if” someone had set up the meeting in advance as a dress casual, "goodies"
It’s simple. You just have to create a “what’s next” attitude for the team members.
